Wes & I spent a lot of time driving around the Austin/Georgetown/Fredericksburg areas to see the beautiful sights.
On Friday, we drove on a route called The Devil’s Backbone. We found a natural area called Jacob’s Well, which was SO cool. It was a spring with crystal clear water. There’s a hole that goes 30ft straight down and has a series of underwater caves.

Day two, we packed up our cameras and headed a little West. Our first stop was Hamiliton Pool, which was beautiful. (Good find, Wes!)

Our last adventure on the trip was the one I was looking forward to the most…Enchanted Rock. We brought the tripod along for this part of the trip so we could get some nice photos of the two of us. They’re probably my favorite photos of us, ever. I was in total awe over this place. It was the perfect temperature, the spring wildflowers were blooming, and the sunset was breathtaking. I hope that I get to go back to central Texas again sometime soon!
