Angelica Poor House: Angelica, New York
Last spring, some friends and I took a trip to Angelica, New York to explore the abandoned Angelica Poor House. It was incredible walking through this massive building thinking of all of the people who once called it home. This building was built in the 1820’s and housed the countys poor. There were lots of things left behind, such as old newspapers, chairs, pianos, etc. It felt very eerie being in there. Other than the shuffle of our feet as we walked through this home, it was silent. I’m so excited that I had the chance to explore such a neat old building.
