A Spring Children’s Session in Franklin, PA
This was one of my first outdoor lifestyle childrens sessions and I had SO much fun. Ellie and Julia were so full of energy (and jelly beans.) We did the session at a family farm in Franklin, PA on a windy Sunday evening. We started the session off by heading to the loft of the horse barn. Gorgeous light was shining through the gaps in the wood giving us beautiful light to use. We found a cool old chair to use while we were in the barn…one of the many reasons I loveeee going into old buildings for photos. After we finished taking photos in the barn, we walked around the property and used some really cool spots, including a section of tiny pine trees, a cornfield, and my favorite, the big old tree in the middle of the field. I made some colorful floral crowns for the girls to wear in some of the photos, which turned out adorable. These two got along so well and I loved watching them interact and laugh (even though the laughing was definitely from them whispering poop jokes in each other’s ears.) Ellie and Julia were so great during the session and made my job so easy and enjoyable!
